The illustrious and dynamic Litolier Group, an organization with close to four decades of experience in entrepreneurship was founded in 1969 by its current Chairman, Mr. Ashok Mittal. With a humble beginning as a private enterprise in the field of interior lighting, the Litolier Group went on to become India's largest and most sophisticated showroom for exquisite lights and chandeliers.

In 2000, barely two years after obtaining the Membership of the Bombay Stock Exchange and National Stock Exchange, the premium stock exchanges of the country, Chandler Investments Pvt. Ltd. and other Litolier group companies emerged amongst the few leading brokerage firms in the country clocking one of the highest turnovers on the exchanges.

 

Entrepreneurial success cannot be curbed and the group diversified into the field of Real Estate and Hospitality. With the construction of landmark buildings like The Litolier Chambers at Andheri, and Presidential Towers at Ghatkopar, the Group has laid claim to being a major player in India's booming real estate industry. Some of the proposed developments include Special Economic Zones spread over 100 acres in the national capital.

The Group's foray into the hospitality business began by acquiring the erstwhile Ashok Yatri Nivas hotel in New Delhi and converting it into a five star property now known as The Royal Plaza. The property was awarded the 'Best Boutique Hotel' award in the 5-star Hospitality India & Explore the World Annual International Awards 2009. The Group is further developing 5 Star Hotel properties in the metropolis of Mumbai and the popular holiday destination - Goa.

 

Over a period of time, the Litolier Group has been privileged to have a roster of prestigious clients and has been associated with the Rashtrapati Bhavan and Parliament House. The current thrust of the Group, under the aegis of CEO Vikram Mittal is to make aggressive forays into the real estate space, with special emphasis on developing 'A' Grade Hospitality projects and Special Economic Zones. In fact, with an estimated worth of Rs. 2000 crores, the Group is in the process of establishing itself as one of the leading Hospitality and Real Estate companies in India.
